Unchecking the Box is a documentary exploring the complexity of racial identity in America. Every person has a unique definition based on their heritage, ethnicity, culture and experiences. Every person is also required to define this by checking a box. This film explores the stories and experiences behind those boxes. The film is aimed to continue a conversation, and promote cultural sensitivity.

I was a co-producer this project with four fellow students in the documentary specialization capstone at Michigan State University.
